Elvin @ 2009

2009 is a great great year to me. It’s the year when I met Elvin or the first time, in person! The date was 22/09 and I won’t forget for the rest of my life…

The next day, I finally got the chance to take my first photo of my life with him! I remember I was trembling that time… I was really surprised that he knew my name, though it was the first time we see each other in person! Haha, just like the girl elves sais, he is more ’shuai’ in person! Haha! I am just jealous of his muscles! I was, oh my, shocked to see that he is so big size!

A few months later, I saw him again! Haha, I went down to Singapore to attend his FC’s gathering! It was great to know other fans and of course, Elvin gege! He keep thanking me non-stop for coming all the way down… Haha… No need to thank me! I really had a great afternoon on the 19/12! I really did something unexpected, haha!

Though it’s a minor character, but he won the main female character, Rui En’s heart. Happy together. Not much to say about Sato-san! ‘Ruivin’ very compatible!

Tarzan in TOGETHER

Opps… Heard that Tarzan lost his manhood on Wednesday! Oh my! I can’t watch it… Need to wait till CNY only I can watch… Temporarily stopped at Episode 20. Haix. Tarzan is Elvin’s favourite character for this year. My my fav too, for this year. Yes, I have comment! He portrayed the character very well… Just that it’s a bit over… That’s my opinion. There’s room for improvement.

I still feel that Elvin portrayed the character Buqun very well, till today. Very natural. Keep that Buqun spirit, Elvin…!

HAPPY NEW YEAR 2010!

‘RUIVIN’

Just found out a new term here — RUIVIN. RUIVIN is the combination of Rui En and Elvin Ng. So, if u are a fan of both of them, then u are a fan of RUIVIN. I myself is also a fan of Ruivin!

Elvin and Rui En ‘officially’ become my idol in 2006. I know about both of them and Love @ 0 Degree while I was watching Star Awards 2006. Before 2006, I was that kind of ‘old type’ fan who liked MediaCorp ah-ge and ah-jies. I remember I was a fan of TPH and Fann Wong in 2005-2006, a very crazy one… Haha… Till the day I knew Rui  En and Elvin or Ruivin.

Love @ 0 Degree is still my favourite till today. It is a significance to me and I watch it every year, again and again and won’t feel tired at all… Maybe I will feel tired one day, but I still like it now Yup BTW this how is repeating in Channel 8, weekdays @ 5.30 pm!

I always feel sorry for Weixiang. Both of them nearly got together but there’s spoilers… Haha… Fortunately Yixin accepts him at the last episode! Yes!!

After that drama, I really hoped that both of them will act together in the same drama again… Finally, it aired BY MY SIDE and THE DREAM CATCHERS! Haha…! Yes! Now I hope that they will act as brother and sister one day, imagine Rui En calling Elvin ‘ge!’… Haha, so cute!!!!!

However, though they are together in the 2 dramas again, but the feeling was lost. I can’t find back the feel as in Love @ 0 Degree, I don’t know why. Jiaqi is still different from Yixin… Yuhang, erm, that is TOTALLY different! That’s why I still like L@0D as I still have the feel!

I love this term very very much. ‘RUIVIN’. It is a great great term and very meaningful. Keep this term in mind, be a fan of both of them!

‘RUIVIN’ was chosen as the most favourite lovers on screen in all times! Hope that this will remain forever!

LOVE @ 0 DEGREE is currently showing its encore at ch8, weekdays @ 5.30 p.m.

Elvin and Elves Gathering 2009

I dare to say that this time I did something very unexpectedly – I went to Singapore to see Elvin! Though I came all the way from Malacca to Singapore with my nanny’s help, but I did learn a lot from this trip, like leading a normal Singaporean’s city life and using efficient public transports. It’s a total difference compared to Malacca. Great to ride MRT for the first time

It’s great to see Elvin kor kor again. Ya. After 2 months, we finally see each other again. He was surprised to see me there too. Haha, maybe because of hia filming a few months ago in Malacca had made me wanted to see him again, and travelling all the way to Singapore. For this, I would like to thank my mum, dad and nanny for sponsoring my trip to Singapore. I had a great fun.

JOURNEY TO JURONG ISLAND

As the venue is kept secret, elves were required to assemble at Chinese MRT Garden. The meeting place is very very far from the hotel I was staying. Gladly Cindy laojie taught me how to ride MRT there. Thanks Cindy You are te best!

It’s glad to meet all the Elves at the MRT station, especially the mystery person Alyce mama! Yes, she indeed a great mama! We talked everything under the sun, along with Cindy laojie. On the way to the bus to bring us to the mystery venue- Jurong Island, Linda jiejie though me and Cindy laojie are couples… Haha… We are just god brother and sister!

We knew Lisa and Huiyun in the bus. Lisa jiejie is very great at dolling herself, looking great all the time. She looks like a Japanese artiste! Huiyun jiejie and Garfield dage are very great talker too, haha!

After 15 minutes, I asked Cindy laojie why the bus hasn’t move yet… And I heard noises behind! Haha, Elvin is driving a car and he will follow the bus! He was wearing a red shirt. Then, our journey started.

PROBLEM AROUSED

We reached the custom of the Jurong Island. This was a sad memory so I will cut it short. I didn’t bring my passport and they did not accept Malaysian IC. I was stunted that time, felt like crying. Heart pounding very fast. Then, I knew Dorothy jiejie, who also didn’t bring her NRIC, as she was told that she can also bring her student pass. Both of us kept our fingers crossed, hoping that everything will be fine. I saw with my own eyes, Elvin kor kor and the organizing committee trying to solve this problem. I promise I will bring my passport around next time.

For this, I would like to thank Cindy laojie and Alyce mama for waiting with me. I was touched when both of you said you would go home with me if I wasn’t allowed to enter Jurong Island. Besides that, I would like to thank Audrey, Meiling and Elvin Ng for helping us to pass through. We also owe a big big thank you to the manager. All of you are the greatest!

JOURNEY CONTINUES

The problem is resolved. Although it delayed for an hour and quite sad, but we were happy again to hear that the gathering will be extended to 6 p.m.! Oh wow! After 10 minutes, we reached to mystery venue – La Vela Cafe. The atmosphere, the food and the ambience was really nice! Italiano food! Hmm… I still remember the taste!

We were required to hand up our exchange gift and we were given our ‘name stickers’ and divided into groups.

GATHERING STARTS

Yes, started with Italiano buffet! The pasts is great! I heard that Elvin liked Italiano food. Maybe it’s not fattening. Artistes like that kind of food

We were also given a goodie bag. I love the contents in it very much Thank you!

Guess what is inside?

LOTS OF SURPRISES!

The gathering started with a game- knowing each other if I am not mistaken. We were given a piece of paper with 9 questions, and were required to find other elves to fit in certain requirements of those questions. I can only answer questions like ‘Who can say saying ‘I Love You’ in 3 languages?’ and ‘Who live in the north?’ for other elves. Haha… Those lucky winners who finished earlier where each given a prize and granted wishes by Elvin through their ‘lucky draw’ of lots of wishes prepared, such as ’singing love songs together’, ‘hero save the beauty’, ‘massage by Elvin’ and ‘ZI PAI with Elvin’… Haha. I am sure they had fun and they were lucky!

GETTING TO KNOW YOU

After that game, each elf were called to introduce themselves. Elvin and all the Elves listen to each member’s self-introduction very attentively. That’s the way!

Then, the next game started. It’s called BI SHOU HUA JIAO. I was called up by Sharon mama. Originally, Elvin kor kor is the one who BI SHOU HUA JIAO but when it was my turn, I was the one who did that and he guess… What the?! And I drawn funny funny acts like ‘Love At First Sight’, ‘Saw another, lave another’ (Sorry for my direct translate). That was okay but Elvin can’t guess it! However, I drawn something unexpectedly– it was the Singapore famous icon ‘Aunty Lucy’! Oh no! How to act that?! Though I know who Aunty Lucy is (only through newspaper!) but I don’t know how to act like ‘her’! Olivia silently guided me… Oh no! Elvin still can’t guess it! Until when some elves helped me by telling him about a basketball movie, then he finally guessed out that was AUNTY LUCY! Haha… I will try to find out how to act as Aunty Lucy, haha!

Then, it’s an short Q&A session. There was a question regarding his sex-life. Yup. He clarified that he was just joking that time. He told us that when the reporter told him that DYT ‘lost his body’ at the age of 20, he just joked an age that is slidely younger. He indeed was shocked when he read about that article. Everything is just a joke. Period.

Then, it was the photography session. Firstly, we were called our for group photos and then everybody also shot a memorable gathering photo (EVERYONE) outside! Elvin did his trademark YI FEI CHONG TIAN!

After that, we were back and called group by group for individual pics. Elvin didn’t forget to thank me again. Haha.

While waiting other Elves for their photos, Alyce-mama, Cindy-jiejie and me talked like nobody’s business, haha. It was also the time when I went around to take pictures with other Elves.

It was straight to the autograph session. I got Elvin to sign for my autograph. He wrote a lot. He thanked me again…

CLOSING

After that session above, as there’s some time left, Elvin answered more questions posted by Elves. It’s great to know a lot about him. He can express every words and sentences very well and he was very very humble.

Then it was a lucky draw. Cindy laojie got Elvin’s bear bear. Haha. So happy for her. Alyce-mama also got Elvin present for the gift exchange session. Each elf were also given a chocolate by Elvin.

GOODBYE

It was a great afternoon but happy moments always ended very fast. We left Jurong Island. On the custom while we get back our IC/passports, Elvin parked his car aside and joined us. The custom officer was surprised to see TARZAN standing in front of her. Haha, great surprise. Elvin asked me when I would be back and I told him Sunday 11 a.m. He said so soon ahh. I replied that there’s no bus ticket as it is Christmas season.

We went back to Chinese Garden. Elvin kor kor was so considerate to see us off in the MRT station. I took one last pic again and he thanked me one more time for coming. We said goodbye to each other. It was 6.30 p.m.

Then, along with Alyce mama, Minxing jiejie, Dorothy jiejie, Rui Bing jiejie and Cindy jiejie, we went up to ride MRT back. Cindy laojie went the other way back. We said goodbye and I thanked her once more.

Around 7.15 p.m., Alyce mama see me off. I went up my cab and said goodbye. Bye Alyce-mama, nice to meet you!

6)Dorothy jiejie – We won’t know each other quite well if both of us didn’t
bring our important document. Our heart was pounding very very hard. Feel quite
remorse for that few hours… Next time we must remind each other to bring our
important document… Fuh! Fortunately tthe problem was resolved! Nice to meet

9)Athena – I may not know you but you caught my attention. One factor is that
you look like my cousin. Another factor is that you look like a Japanese actress
and reminded me of one… Too bad we were in different groups and you are quiet.

Step aside, stars from the ‘Polo Boys’, 黄俊雄 Elvin Ng’s ‘ooh-la-la’ six packs will make theirs feel like some kacang puteh lor! There’s this saying: ‘if you have it, flaunt it’ and Elvin will do just about that next week on national TV…

These photos were taken off from the opening episodes of the Ch 8’s anniversary drama ‘Together 当我们同在一起’. Elvin played this muscular fellow nicknamed ‘Tarzan’. In this scene, Elvin was seen taking a shower when the fire broke out and threatened to burn down the whole building…he ran out without clothes and the first thing on his mind was to seek out for Jeanette’s character…but instead of saving her from the scorching fire, he almost caused great damage to Jeanette’s pretty face…

To fit the role of this lovable beef cake yet simple minded character, Elvin watched his diet very carefully and trained hard for those abs prior to shooting the drama. His current six packs probably ranked best amongst all ’sizeable’ male artistes in MediaCorp.

At the press conference, Elvin politely requested host Cui Fang to change subject (she was showing intense interest on his muscular new abs) as he wanted viewers to focus a bit more on his acting instead of his body.

I have seen the few episodes of ‘Together 当我们同在一起’ and I must say Elvin landed himself a fabulous role. There’s something about this role that he was able to deliver much better than any of his previous attempts. With no intention to sound sarcastic, I feel that he had played this ‘himbo Tarzan’ role very well. I think he will be adding many girls maybe even guys (omg…scary lah) as fans after this drama goes on TV come Monday (debuting Monday, 30 Nov at 9pm on Channel 8).

This boyish face on a ‘Greek-God mythological statue’s looking body ‘ character will suffer the biggest humiliation – he will loose his ‘manhood’ in a violent wrestling fight…haha…heaven is fair lor…

Elvin Ng will be one of the stars (with Jeanette Aw, Dai Yang Tian, Zhang Zhen Huan, Eelyn Kok, Constance Song, Hong Hui Fang & Zheng Ge Ping) at the roadshow on 5 Dec, 2pm at Jurong Point 2 Entrance Square. 1st 100 fans to queue will get limited edition of the calendars and a chance to go on stage to get the stars’ signatures.

For your information, Elvin will be wearing clothes that day (what were you thinking…you naughty ah?).

TOGETHER, debuts 30th November 2009, weeknights, 9 p.m., Channel8!

SPM…

It’s has been a while since my last time updating this blog of mine here… I remember the last post was about my last day seeing Elvin in Malacca.
Yup, I am having my SPM exam, or equivalent to O-levels, now. A few more weeks to go.
Just feeling a bit sad that the roadshow is confirmed in between my exam month. I was very happy at first as originally this event was set at 17th December, which would be after my SPM, but DYT and Jeanette Aw will not be able to make it that day so it was changed to the 5th.
It was quite a waste to miss this chance as I planned to go all the way to Singapore for this event with my friend. I imagine from time to time, that I can go this kind of function, big big function in Singapore, which is 3 hours distance from Malacca. But now… every thing is pre-destinied. What can I do? Hoping for miracles but no miracles happen. So, what I can do now is… Face the TRUTH.

Just forget it, I tell myself. Because there is still GATHERING!!

But, if the gathering is set to be in the middle of my exam again… Hmm… I don’t know what will happen…

Just keep both of my hands crossed.

TOGETHER @ Malacca 17/10/09 Report – THE FINAL

A sad day today… They are leaving!

I went there 1 pm just now… Met up with my friends there. We straight away went to the makeup shophouse to wait for artistes!

Elvin reached on 1.10 pm. He rushed in and changed. Then he went out again,with a red singlet. I missed the first scene coz my friend and I were waiting for artistes to come out!

Elvin went in and change again. It’s a damn hot day and Elvin dage is sweating! He kept wiping his sweat. The second scene in the afternoon was Elvin dage brought his son and talked to Jeanette, his wife. He was a father today! I can see that was in the 80s coz he wore quite modern outfits. That reminded me of Liangyi.

It was too hot so we went back to the makeup shophouse to wait for artistes again. Elvin dage then changed back his red singlet again and went shooting. That would be his last scene here.

The last scene ended about 4.40pm. On the way back to his makeup shophouse he came and talked to us. He said he wanted to change first. Before that he posed to me again.

The second take was about the same. Actually, I called him to pose for a rather different pose. He showed me something like this but then he said, “Bu yao lah!”(Don’t lah!), in a cheeky way. He posed to me in such a way that he pointed his finger upwards, showing a cool face. But he refuse so I took the 2nd pic.

After he changed his clothes he came out again. I asked him a silly question and made a silly request… Haha, something very secret lah. Then we wish each other good luck.

Then, Elvin went back at 5.15 pm. The crews were packing everything. Elvin dage walked pass and I again wish him a success! Jia you, Elvin! Bye bye!

Elvin in Together @ Malacca 16/10/09 Report

Yay! Finally, I saw Elvin dage again today!

I went there after my Biology remedial class today, along with my classmate. I am glad to see Elvin dage today. He was standing beside an antique car and saw us walked pass. I waved at him and he waved back.

The scene today was that Elvin dage was driving the car very recklessly, chasing Zhang Zhenhuan, who was badly hurt, to the hospital. Jeanette aw was in the car too. Elvin dage drove the car very fast, turning left and right, nearly knock down DYT. I was really impressed that Elvin dage did everything by himself, without using any stunt man! I am sure Jeanette and Zhang Zhenhuan were also risking their life for that, haha.

Elvin came out and talked with us.

It’s a hot day today and we kept finding places to hide. Then finally we decided to stand in front of the makeup shop house. The artistes was having lunch and we waited for them to come out. Finally, Elvin dage came out and he came to us. Of course there are also other visitors there…

Mystery revealled! The neat drama script of Elvin, as told by Xiang Yun in CELEBRITEABREAK.

Elvin entertained everyone and signing autographs and shot pictures with the fans. Despite of the time, he really tried to “interact” with us, I should say.  I seized the chance to ask him what time he will be filming tomorrow and he replied that he will be there tomorrow from 12pm to 6pm.

I was a bit sad when I heard that. This is because they are leaving Malacca tomorrow! I gonna miss them very much.
